A HELPING HAND, WITHOUT THE WORRY

There’s no need to feel embarrassed about asking for help

Housework can become harder to manage for all sorts of reasons. You may want help yourself, or be looking for a reliable cleaner for an elderly parent or relative. Wherever you are starting from, we are happy to have a conversation.

We don’t judge the condition of your home or discriminate. We welcome customers of all ages and backgrounds, treat people and their belongings with respect, and listen to what would make the biggest difference. We agree the work with you, rather than expecting every home to fit the same checklist.

An initial deep clean

If some areas need extra attention, we can start with a separately quoted deep clean. This gives us time to address agreed build-up and priorities, with the aim of making ongoing maintenance easier.

  • Kitchens, bathrooms, toilets and living areas.
  • Dusting, surface cleaning and thorough vacuuming of accessible areas.
  • Extra attention to agreed details, such as edges, shower glass or suitable limescale treatment.

We confirm the rooms, tasks, cleaner-hours and price beforehand. Carpet cleaning, oven cleaning and other specialist work can be quoted separately.

Regular maintenance cleaning

Once the home is at a manageable starting point, regular visits can help keep things comfortable. We can discuss weekly, fortnightly or twice-weekly cleaning, subject to availability.

  • Regular kitchen and bathroom cleaning.
  • Dusting, vacuuming and mopping suitable floors.
  • Housekeeping or ironing where agreed within the available time.

We prioritise the tasks that matter to you and review the time needed after the first few visits. Changes to the plan or price are agreed before they apply.

ARRANGING HELP FOR A PARENT?

We can work with you and your family

You don’t have to live nearby to help arrange a clean. With the person living in the home’s agreement, we can discuss the priorities with you, arrange a suitable visit and agree who should receive the quotation and invoice.

Tell us about preferred times, access, pets, rooms to focus on and anything that would help the visit feel more comfortable. We aim for familiar faces where scheduling allows and will discuss the practical arrangements before booking.

CLEAR EXPECTATIONS FROM THE START

A cleaning plan that feels manageable

Regular domestic cleaning starts at £54 per visit for two cleaner-hours, with additional time at £27 per cleaner-hour. We bring our standard cleaning products and equipment. The time and price for your home are confirmed following a consultation; any travel allowance or separately priced work is agreed in your quotation.

An initial deep clean is quoted separately. Its purpose is to tackle the agreed priorities and make the home easier to maintain; the ongoing time needed depends on the property and tasks you would like included.

We are based in Bromham, near Devizes, and help households across our local Wiltshire service area, including Chippenham, Calne, Melksham and Corsham. Tell us the postcode so we can confirm availability.

Questions about cleaning for older people

Can I arrange cleaning for my elderly mum, dad or another relative?

Yes. With their agreement, we can speak with you about the home, priorities and access arrangements. We can also agree who should receive quotations, invoices and booking updates.

Can we start with a deep clean and decide on regular visits afterwards?

Yes. We can quote for an initial deep clean on its own, then review what maintenance would be useful afterwards. Any ongoing frequency, cleaner-hours and price are agreed separately before those visits begin.

What if the house has become difficult to keep on top of?

There is no need to feel embarrassed. We don’t judge or discriminate. Tell us what needs attention and we will discuss a realistic plan with you. Photographs can help us quote if you are comfortable sharing them. If anything needs specialist treatment or cannot be undertaken safely, we will explain this sensitively before agreeing the work.

Do I need to be at home for the clean?

Not necessarily. We have keyholder insurance in place and can discuss agreed key or key-safe access. Alternatively, you or a family member can let us in. We confirm access and locking-up arrangements before the visit.

Do you provide personal care as well as cleaning?

Our service is household cleaning and agreed housekeeping tasks. We do not provide personal care, medication support or medical services.
