We review the rooms, carpet type and any photographs you provide before quoting. We may request further details or arrange a visit if needed. A pre-clean condition check is completed before work starts.

How long will my carpets take to dry?
Professional carpet cleaning shouldn't leave your carpets soaking wet. Our extraction system recovers the majority of the moisture used during cleaning, and we use professional air-moving equipment to help start the drying process before we leave.
Most carpets typically dry within around 4–8 hours, although this can vary depending on the carpet type, room temperature, ventilation, humidity and the level of cleaning required. We'll also advise you on the best way to help your carpets dry as quickly as possible after your clean.

Guide prices are based on typical sizes, normal soiling and suitable materials. Very large areas, specialist fibres, delicate rugs, unusual upholstery or restoration work may require assessment. Minimum specialist booking £75.
Need an evening, out-of-hours or Sunday appointment? We can often accommodate appointments outside our standard working hours. Sunday and UK bank holiday bookings carry a 25% uplift across all CNP services. Out-of-hours appointments outside Sundays and UK bank holidays carry a 20% surcharge. This does not stack with the 25% Sunday/bank holiday uplift; where both could apply, the 25% uplift is used.

What about stubborn stains?
We'll always aim for the best achievable result, but some staining can permanently alter or damage fibres and dyes. For that reason, complete stain or odour removal can never be guaranteed. We'll be realistic about what we expect to achieve before and during the clean.

To carry out professional extraction cleaning, we’ll need access to a suitable mains water supply and electrical power at the property. We’ll bring the professional cleaning equipment, products and everything else required for the clean.

Emergency Cleaning Call-Out
Spills, pet accidents, sickness and unexpected mess do not always happen at a convenient time. Contact CNP Services and we’ll do our best to arrange prompt attendance to assess and treat the affected area.
Emergency carpet & cleaning call-out from £75, subject to location, availability and the work required. Permanent stain removal cannot be guaranteed.
Home Care member? Active members receive priority booking in line with their membership tier and availability. Emergency cleaning itself remains separately chargeable unless CNP confirms a specific member offer.

Some tenancy agreements require professional carpet cleaning and may also ask for appropriate treatment following pet occupancy. Where suitable, CNP can provide specific carpet treatment for fleas and other suitable crawling insects. Tell us what your tenancy agreement requires and we’ll include the appropriate treatment in your quote.

Will every stain come out?
Not every mark is removable. We assess the material, condition and type of staining before choosing a suitable treatment. Wear, bleaching, dye damage and some permanent stains can remain; we will discuss limitations rather than promise a result we cannot guarantee.

Drying depends on the carpet, the cleaning required, temperature, ventilation and conditions in the property. We will give you guidance for your clean and explain when it is suitable to use the area again.
How should I prepare for the visit?

Yes, we can assess suitable carpets, stairs, rugs and fabric upholstery in the same enquiry. Tell us what you need cleaned and send photographs if helpful; each item remains subject to a suitability check and an agreed quotation.

We show any date-related price adjustment before a booking is confirmed. Preferred dates are requests, not confirmed appointments, and CNP will review availability and the final price with you.
